Many great movies came out in 2012 – The Dark Knight Rises, Looper, Argo, Django Unchained, Zero Dark Thirty, to list some of our favorites. But there were many excellent films that slipped by rather quietly. We decided that we needed another chance to see some of the best movies of 2012.

So, during the month of February, St. Clair Cinema Club will be hosting the 2012 Movies You May Have Missed (or want to see again) film series. Starting next weekend, and every weekend in February, we’ll be showing movies at Ponyride.

Kicking off the series next weekend will be Bernie a black comedy staring Jack Black, and the future-cult classic John Carter. Tickets are $5.00, and you’ll find popcorn and pop at our concession table.

Ponyride is located at 1401 Vermont in Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood.
