As you may be aware, we have been searching for a place to make our St. Clair Cinema Club experience permanent. We’ve found it at the Burton Theater. We will be re-opening there as Cinema Detroit! We have some great events already scheduled…check it out:

The Mitten Movie Project Detroit Night is dedicated to shorts about the City of Detroit or those shot mainly in the city. The line-up includes music videos, animation, documentaries and more…all about the city we love. For further info, check out the Facebook event or the Mitten Movie Project page.

Detroit 48 Hour Film Horror Project
The 48 Hour Film Horror Project visits Detroit the weekend of November 8 - 10. Filmmakers from all over the city will compete to see who can make the best short horror film in only 48 hours. See the amazing results at Cinema Detroit on November 14!

Detroit Video Discovery Night
ONE NIGHT ONLY screening showcase of seven Detroit filmmaker groups putting together their own “found footage” horror/sci-fi/action/drama films as a screening anthology. More details to come.
