In honor of John Waters’ visit to our city this week, we are presenting his 1974 classic, Female Trouble, in which spoiled schoolgirl Dawn Davenport (Divine) runs away from home because she didn’t get cha-cha heels for Christmas, gets pregnant while hitchhiking, and ends up as a fashion model for a pair of beauticians who equate crime with beauty. Starring Dreamlanders David Lochary, Mary Vivian Pearce, Mink Stole, Edith Massey, Cookie Mueller, and Susan Walsh.
